Our Writing Studies faculty consultants are happy to help support your scholarly productivity. We have worked on grants, journal articles, monographs, presentations, and more with faculty from every school and college at the University of Miami. If you would like guidance in writing with AI, our consultants will be pleased to discuss that with you as well.

Faculty Writing Group

If you’re looking for a writing community, we can help you find it! Our Faculty Writing Group offers drop-in online writing times each week, where faculty work together and share their writing goals and achievements. You don’t have to come every day or stay the whole time. This semester, the Faculty Writing Group is meeting [insert current days, times]. If you’re interested in the Faculty Writing Group, fill out this Google form, and we will get back to you quickly.

Writing Coach

If you’re working on a longer project, a grant, article, or monograph, we can partner with you for sustained support throughout the term. We'll match you with a writing consultant who will get to know your project, help you develop your argument, navigate revision, or push toward a deadline. You can set up a standing appointment or schedule sessions around your own milestones. We work on your schedule, at your pace.

Faculty Writing Groups

Build strong writing habits by joining a community of faculty writers. The FWG helps faculty members practice accountability by offering pre-scheduled drop in writing times each week.
